Consists of 18 folders containing files about Rev. Horace B. McKenna, S.J. maintained by Rev. Thomas E. Ambrose, S.J. Includes newspaper clippings, dated 1970-1989 about Rev. McKenna, along with a few published articles by him. Arranged in rough chronological order.
This series consists predominantly of Fr. Welch's near-daily journals (1888-1904) as well as materials related to his Golden Jubilee (1901); his and his father's wills (1866-1901); two carte de visite photographs (1863-1886); ecclesiastical permissions (1850-1896); and correspondence (1791, 1841-1901). Please note that journal (II), covering 8-18-1889 to 4-7-1891, is missing from this collection.
