The collection consists of recordings of Aboriginal Australian sound instruments and other recordings.
The collection documents 43 meetings of the National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research held between 1974 and 1978 and includes briefing books, subject files, and transcripts from these meetings. The Executive’s Branch of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare established the group in 1974 and it is considered one of the first modern bioethics commissions.

Correspondence to Fr. Albert A. Beckwith, SJ, while he was a theological student at Woodstock College (Maryland) between 1937 and 1941. Senders include his cousin Nellie M. Morgan of Wilcox, Pennsylvania; his godmother May Barry of Warwick, New York; his nephew Albert C. Beckwith of Goshen, Pennsylvania; and his sister Marie Beckwith of Jersey City, New Jersey. They primarily contain family updates and reference personal matters.

Brown Papers 1, consist of 99 folders of correspondence from literary and artistic luminaries, including writers Sylvia Beach, John Dos Passos, Anne Fremantle, Katherine Anne Porter, Alice B. Toklas; philosopher Jacques Maritain; photographer Brassai; poets Marianne Moore, Wallace Stevens, and Giuseppe Ungaretti, and many more. Correspondence is arranged alphabetically.
