Series I. Death Certificates, 1886 - 1941
Scope and Contents
The death certificates provide the following information about the deceased: name, date of death, age at death, and place of burial. Burials occurred in local cemeteries, including Holy Rood Cemetery in Georgetown and Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The death certificates are arranged in chronological order.

Conditions Governing Access
Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
