Scope and Contents

Correspondence to Robert O'Donnell Hinckley from Eleanore Hinckley ; Gladys Hinckley Werlich; Indeola Poynter Tweedie; amd "Adelaide." Also included are Navy orders to report to the Navy Yard, New York (1918); letter from Vice Admiral John D. MacDonald, containing a recommendation for the foreign service, 20 April 1922 [R. O'D. H. had served as his personal aid]; letter from Samuel Neilson Hinckley concerning Robert's actions during a demonstration of Sinn Fein at the Union Club in New York, 1920.
