This item includes two documents: a) a signed manuscript score of a song for voice and piano with lyrics in French and German, based on a French poem by Silvestre, and b) a German translation of Silvestre's original poem on a separate leaf. The German lyrics on the score and the translated poem differ slightly (e.g., in word order), but the handwriting of each appears to be identical and may be that of Bernhard Wolff, who arranged the song (and 9 others) for piano for the publisher Fürstner...
