John W. Thomason, Jr. Collection
Collection pertaining to John W. Thomason (1893-1944), U.S. Marine officer, author and illustrator, consisting of correspondence, documents, and original artwork. Included is a series of letters written by Thomason to his wife during World War I which include pencil sketches and original verse. Also found in the collection are several of Thomason's water color and ink drawings used in a variety of his books and articles.
