Arrangement

The Ward-McNeer Papers are divided into three (3) Series: Correspondence by specific individuals; Family Series; and Subject Series.

The Subject Series is divided into eighteen (18) Subseries, and within each are materials from individuals and on particular subjects pertaining to that Subseries: i.e., the Publishing Subseries contains varied and interesting material on publishing companies, publishing periodicals, and writers.

Folders are arranged alphabetically while contents are arranged chronologically. Folder contents contain relative correspondence; notes; brochures; clippings; and miscellaneous material.
