Boxes 1-9 are arranged alphabetically and contain correspondence to and from Scott. Boxes 10-12 are arranged chronologically and contain primarily outgoing correspondence from Scott. Much of the correspondence deals with topics treated as separate units in the papers. Any study of these topics should include a perusal of the correspondence files.
