It includes manuscripts by Julius Garesche; correspondence about his death by fellow officers, including General Rosecrans; printed information about Garesche and some members of his family; and photographs of Garesche and the family tomb at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC.

Nixon, among others. A run of letters regarding Wendell Willkie's 1940 presidential campaign is also included among the documents.
