Scope and Contents From the Series: Series IV, the Stewart Marsh Ellis papers, forms the last series of the Montague Summers papers, consisting of the letters, scrapbooks, and ephemera of the literary biographer S.M. Ellis which came into Summers' possession after the death of Ellis in 1933. There is ample evidence of the shared interests of Ellis and Summers, particularly in Victorian Romantic literature, ghost stories, and in the supernatural, generally, and letters from each as well.
