Found in Notes:  In 1903 Pergler decided to return to the United States for a while in order to study law and to get involved in the Socialist and Czech nationalist movements there.

In Chicago Pergler began working at Spravedlnost, a local Czech language newspaper, and in 1905 began courses at Kent College of Law.

Sylvia V.C. Twine Papers

The collection documents the career of mezzo-soprano Sylvia V.C. Twine. It includes concert programs, advertisements, and newspaper clippings (1989-2016); curricula vitae; portrait photographs; two compact discs of Twine recordings; and Twine's Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan School of Music (2001).

Found in Notes:  Tre Mezzi has performed throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan area in venues such as the Reginald Lewis Museum, and the Czech Embassy.

Ms. Twine received her Master of Music from the University of Michigan and studied with the noted tenor George Shirley.

Archive of 90 original drawings of Czech inmates of the Flossenburg concentration camp. Documents formerly owned by Miloslav Snyrych, an inmate himself. Also, contains various realia, such as identity cards, ration tickets, photographs, and a postwar attestation that he was indeed an inhabitant of Belkovic, Czechoslovakia. Accession: 160429.
