Series-level Scope and Content Note From the Series: (Box 1, Folders 22 - 98) This series contains correspondence from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin to his long-time friend and fellow Jesuit, Pierre Leroy. Letters date from March 7, 1948 to April 4, 1955, just before the former's death. All letters have been previously published in 'Letters from My Friend, 1948-1955,' collected and introduced by Pierre Leroy and translated from the French with a preface by Mary Lukas.
