Contains the diploma issued to Beall upon his graduation from the College of Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1941. Also includes the Purple Heart Certificate issued to Beall on June 14, 1943. Beall was killed in action in Tunisia on April 25, 1943.
The collection consists of a scrapbook assembled to celebrate the 80th birthday of Robert Collyer. It includes a program for the celebration held at the Church of the Messiah (34th Street and Park Avenue, NYC) and congratulatory letters from numerous individuals (including Mark Twain and Andrew Carnegie, among others).
