The collection consists of a scrapbook assembled to celebrate the 80th birthday of Robert Collyer. It includes a program for the celebration held at the Church of the Messiah (34th Street and Park Avenue, NYC) and congratulatory letters from numerous individuals (including Mark Twain and Andrew Carnegie, among others).
Contains photographs, news clippings, programs, flyers, and press releases documenting select events held in Gaston Hall between 1984-1987. Events include the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Human Rights Award, honorary degree ceremonies, musical concerts, Lecture Fund programming, Black Arts Festival, among others.
