The records, files, correspondence and research material of the Center for Public Financing of Elections (CPFE). The Center was established in June, 1973 to develop public support for public funding of the legitimate expenses of campaigning for federal office. The Center's archives at Georgetown constitute a thoroughly documented legislative history for use by students and researchers interesting in election campaign financing.

Three additional copies of the 1815 Federal Charter located in map case 1 drawer 4. Inlcudes two photostatic copie from the National Archives with seal and one large print out from scan.
The collection consists of papers presented at the Choices on our Conscience International Symposium on Human Rights, Retardation and Research, as well as the symposium's program.. The symposium was sponsored by the Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation and held in October 1971.
