This collection consists of the papers of Joseph Wilfrid Parsons, S.J.(1887-1958), who served as Editor-in-Chief of America Magazine (1925-1936).

Includes files regarding contacts with some 40 London embassies; material about the annual PEN Congress which failed to take place in Iran in 1963; and manuscript submissions for a short story contest (circa 1961).

The scrapbook includes a program, fliers for the production and for tryouts, cast lists, seating charts, publicity and production photographs, press releases, and hand-written thank you notes to Donn Murphy from students. Also includes 6 black and white photographs from the Stalag 17 production in 1955.
