The series documents the Narrative Bioethics Seminar at Hiram College. According to Reich, it was the, "first sustained attempt in the academic world in the U.S. to integrate ethics, literature, and the health professions. It was originally directed by Warren T. Reich and Kathryn Montgomery Hunter in summer session at Hiram College, Ohio, circa 1990-1994."

Scope and Contents From the Series: The series contains research files on the history of bioethics, the Kennedy Institute of Ethics (KIE), and Andre Hellegers collected and created by Warren T.
