Some covers are photocopies. It includes, but is not limited to, the following authors and editors: H. Tristram Engelhardt, Robert M. Veatch, LeRoy Walters, Ruth Faden, Tom L. Beauchamp, Richard A. McCormick, James F. Childress, and Edmund D. Pellegrino. Altogether, the album documents the scholarly output of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics and its associates from the 1970s through the early 1980s.

The collection consists of materials assembled by Kennedy Institute of Ethics library staff that were transferred to the BRL Archives at some point prior to 2020. The materials were retroactively accessioned in 2022.
The materials have been rehoused in an archival-quality box and folders. The items could not be safely removed from the adhesive album pages.
