This sub-series contains Capron's files on the California Consortium on Patient Self-Determination. The Consortium consisted of 25 organizations including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospice and home health providers, HMOS, representatives from health care professional and consumer groups, bioethics centers, the California Department of Health Services and Commission on Aging. It developed materials for patients, providers and the public and provided guidance to federal officials drafting regulations. The sub-series includes materials related to meetings, training, and patient education.
