One complete, corrected carbon copy typed draft of "Happy-Go-Lucky" by Emerson, with six parts in prong fastener binders: 1. "Rumbles of War" (blue paper); 2. "The Call to Arms" (blue paper); 3. "In Cuba's Cauldron", "My Booty Horse", "Rough Rider Days" (blue paper); 4. "Footloose" (on orange paper); 5. "With German Armies" (blue paper); and 6. "Out West" (blue paper).

Letters between Edwin Emerson, Ames Williams, and John Mayfield, about Emerson's publications and manuscripts; includes an account of his activity as a free lance spy in Puerto Rico at the outset of the Spanish American War, and a photostatic copy of "Reminiscences in the Life of Edwin Emerson [Sr.], Printed on the Occasion of His Seventy-eighth Year, July 2, 1901" dated 1947 through a note by Edwin Emerson, Jr. in the reproduction.
