Biographical Note

Colonel William J. Walsh (1899-1983) was a U.S. military officer, public servant, and political campaign manager. After Walsh's retirement from the U.S. Army in 1946, he established the Citizenship Research Project which operated as a consulting firm on the methods of political campaigning.
