The Jesuit Guild of Washington Records contain ephemera (e.g., flyers, invitations, correspondence, and newspaper clippings) and photographs surrounding the social and fundriaising events hosted by the Guild. There are also several items related to the governance of the organization.

Conditions Governing Access
Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
Conditions Governing Use
Researchers are solely responsible for determining the copyright status of the materials being used, establishing who the copyright owner is, locating the copyright owner, and obtaining permission for intended use.
Historical Note
The Jesuit Guild of Washington, as explained by their constitution, was created to "unite the members for social and constructive purposes"; to "assist in a spiritual way the works of the Society of Jesus at home and on the Missions"; and to "help the Society of Jesus in a material way in any manner approved by the majortity of the members." It was governed by a moderator (a member of the Society of Jesus) and 11 elected officials (president, vice-president, recording secretary, correspondence secretary, financial secretary, treasurer, co-treasurer, and four directors). Membership was open to anyone interested in the objectives of the Guild and who paid their dues. The Guild was started by 1955 and was in existence until at least 1982.

Processing Information
Records were previously held in scrapbooks; in processing these were dismantled for preservation purposes and the materials were placed in acid-free boxes and folders.
