S, chorus, soprano and tenor saxophone, orchestra. Finished manuscripts on vellum (parts and full score), working copies and performance copies of parts (boxes 3 & 4). Finished manuscript of conductor's score on vellum, disbound conductor's performance copy, large format copies (box 28). Notes, sketches, drafts, finished, reduced score, choral master, and section copies. Includes planning correspondence with The New World Symphony (box 19). Sketches, drafts, and notes under the title Symphony of Spirituals (box 29).
