Sasser family: printed material, 1872 - 1897

A printed copy of congressional bill S. 2613, which provided that $71,178.77 be paid to Whitty M. Miller, administrator of Whitty M. Sasser, deceased, and to Jessie W. Pollitt, administrator of Amanda Sasser, deceased, for "supplies and stores taken from the plantations of said Whitty M. Sasser by the military forces of the United States for their use in Rapides Parish, Louisiana" (March 24, 1896). This was put forth by Louisiana senator Newton C. Blanchard. Also a printed copy of congressional bill S. 2701, which provided for the same, put forth by Louisiana senator Donelson Caffery (April 1, 1896).
