An honorable discharge certificate for Frederick Marcy Lynde (July 31, 1862); a letter from Lynde to the Postmaster General requesting his military longevity pay be established (September 26, 1878); a letter from his brother Charles J. Lynde (July 26, 1886); two letters from lawyer Joseph W.
