Scope and Contents

Scrapbook compiled by Anne Coll to document "The Philippine Story" an event that honored the Jesuits who returned to Baltimore after the end of World War II. Several of them had been captured by the Japanese and held in POW camps. The scrapbook consists of 8 X 10 black and white photographs of the event, the program and pamphlet "The Philippine Story," a transcript of the program, newsclips, magazine stories, and some ephemera submitted by the participants to Anne Coll. The transcript is taped into the book with a photo corresponding that point of the program pasted on left.
