Includes lists of submitted interview tapes and transcripts; correspondence with Dr. Kay Oliver, Chief Historian, Central Intelligence Agency including proposal for continuation of project; transcript of interview with Richard Helms; written answers to additional questions by Gertrude Legendre; question notes for Edgar Welles interview; copies of basic questionnaire for interviews.

Conditions Governing Access

Only approved transcripts may be scanned, photographed, or otherwise copied. Unedited transcripts and interview recordings may be accessed by appointment in our reading room. Researchers may take notes while accessing unedited transcripts and interview recordings, but are not allowed to quote or transcribe directly from the interviews.

Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
