Scope and Contents

Letters written to Provincials James Sweeney and Vincent Keelan by priests serving at Ridge: Horace B. McKenna (Superior), Joseph Stoffel, John Dougherty, and Walter deLawder. Most letters concern the operations of Cardinal Gibbons Institute, parochial schools, fundraising efforts, impact of World War II, and resources for missionary work. Letter from Father Stoffel requesting that he no longer serve as confessor (July 24, 1943). Includes copies of following publications: St. Michael's Messenger, St. Peter Claver parish newsletter, and Cardinal Gibbons Institute Herald.
