Scope and Contents

Transcribed copies of correspondence written by Thomas Hinckley between 1906 - 1918, mounted in two volumes including annotated notes by Gladys Hinckley Werlich. The correspondence documents Thomas' mining experiences in the West, as well as subsequent foreign service posts in San Salvador, Vienna, Madrid, and Rome. Excerpts are taken from correspondence in the following folders.
