Handwritten note: Gray pages: Tactical leaflets (5th Army) Cassino-anzio campaign (1943-44). Dissemination mostly by shell. Quantities average 300,000 each. (Selection from 50 leaflets). Buff pages: Tactical leaflets (SHAEF) France-Germany campaign (1944-45). Dissemination by B-17 bomber. Quantities average 3,000,000 each. (Selection from 125 leaflets). Yellow pages: Strategic leaflets (SHAEF). Dissemination over Germany (1944-45). Quantities average 5,000,000 each. (Selection from 20 leaflets). @ Note: With the exception of the "Yellow pages," all ensuing itemization of leaflets are marked "Gray" or "Buff" to correspond with the foregoing note. No "Yellow pages" were found in the original album.
