65 postage stamps printed by the U. S. Government for mail service in the Canal Zone bearing John F. Stevens' portrait, first issued in June 1946. Includes the following items: 1 block of 56 uncancelled stamps (7 x 8 stamps), 1 block of 6 uncancelled stamps (2 x 3 stamps), 2 loose cancelled stamps and one uncancelled stamp on the detached corner of an envelope. Folder also includes a printed article about the stamp.
