Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are
open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a
minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact
the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.

Correspondence and a booklet relating to JFS' receipt of the Medal of the Order of the White Lion from the Czechoslovak Republic. Includes the following items: 1 TLS from the Secretary of the Order presenting the award to JFS (in French, 15 Jun 1926); 1 TLS from Zdenek Fierlinger, Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the Czechoslovak Republic at Washington, to JFS; 2 TLSs from the U.S.Department of State regarding the Medal; and 1 autograph chart of medals received by JFS (?) from the governments of Japan, China, France and the United States. Folder also includes 1 booklet relating to the Order of the White Lion.
