Container Summary

Manuscript #454: ALS dated June 10, [no year] (1 page) from American poet Ellen Louise Chandler Moulton to Algernon Charles Swinburne, inviting the latter to visit and meet the "Madox Brownes." See also Curatorial file and Index card #454 where Mayfield dates the letter to the year 1878 -- although certainly Swinburne would have already met Ford Madox Brown by then.
