Manuscript #435: ALS undated (2 pages, on mourning stationery) from Algernon Charles Swinburne to Mrs. Jane Magill, re forwarding a book that he had forgotten. Addressed from Glasgow, Mrs. Magill is directed to send, Ernest Feydeau's "Memoires d'une demoiselle" to George Powell at 41 Mornington Crescent, Camden Town, London. See Curatorial file and Index card #435. This letter is published by Land (4:37-38), who suggests it was dated circa January 23, 1878.
