Container Summary

Manuscript #419: ALS undated (1 page, addressed from Northend), from Edward Burne-Jones to Algernon Charles Swinburne. Addressed to "Hadji, Swinburne's family nickname, and signed, "Ned." Refers to a disagreement between Burne-Jones, William Morris and Swinburne about Giuseppe Mazzini. See Curatorial file and Index card #419. Mayfield provides a transcription of the letter and suggests that the letter date is sometime during December 1876.
