This folder [No. 6 of 9] consists of Parsons Papers general correspondence (1934) of Patrick F. Scanlan, Managing Editor of "The [Brooklyn] Tablet." Items of interest include: letter (Nov. 20) has attached a typescript relating the events of a lecture presented by an ex-nun in New York on Nov. 18, 1934, sponsored by the Atheist Society. In the lecture the ex-nun makes many serious allegations against the morays of the Catholic Church.
