Container Summary

This folder consists of America House/America Press records [two items] pertaining to the resignation (1925) of Richard Tierney, S.J. as President of America Press and the America Press Charities Fund and the appointment of Wilfrid Parsons, S.J. to that post. It also contains a letter (Dec. 24, 1958) which explains the factors and events leading to and resulting in the ultimate dismissal of Wilfrid Parsons from the post of Editor-in-Chief by Father General Ledowchowski, S.J., in 1936.
