Among the categories established are: readers' correspondence [grouped by file folder], authors' correspondence pertaining to specific publications, manuscript cover letters, manuscripts, letters of acceptance/rejection, telegrams, requests, article comments/suggestions, subscriptions, circulation records, letters of commendation/complaint, poll results, questionnaires/surveys, reviews, critique copies, writers' handbooks/supplements, autographs, inter-office memoranda, employee records and reports. It should be noted that some of these general categories, such as requests, are themselves sub-divided by folders into lesser categories in order to better facilitate the researcher.

This folder consists of letter requesting permission to reprint previously published America Magazine materials (1933-1936). Items of interest [originally letter attachments] include: a pamphlet entitled "A Movement for World Christianity," providing information regarding an organization by that name, and the July, 1935 issue of "The Current Digest," which includes an article on sterilization and an article on Communism.
