This series, entitled 'America Publishers Papers,' comprises various general categories pertaining to America Magazine publications. Among the categories established are: readers' correspondence [grouped by file folder], authors' correspondence pertaining to specific publications, manuscript cover letters, manuscripts, letters of acceptance/rejection, telegrams, requests, article comments/suggestions, subscriptions, circulation records, letters of commendation/complaint, poll results, questionnaires/surveys, reviews, critique copies, writers' handbooks/supplements, autographs, inter-office memoranda, employee records and reports. This folder consists of file copies of letters of commendation from readers regarding America Magazine articles (1936-1937). Items of interest include: letter (Sept. 8, 1936) has attached an anti-semitic pamphlet entitled: "Judaism and Bolshevism-A Challenge and a Reply," which alleges, among other things, that Judaism is the source of Bolshevism.
