This folder consists of the "M" Correspondence (Jan.-Jul. 1940) of Francis X. Talbot, S.J., Editor of America Magazine (1936-1944). Items of interest include: letter (Jan. 30) has attachments which speak of Communism, the New Deal and the Roosevelts; letter (Feb. 27) and attachment address the topic of anti-clericalism and a new form of bigotry; letter (May 6) discusses nature of insurance policies taken out by the Jesuits with Lloyds of London.
