This folder consists of the "Mc" Correspondence (1937) of Francis X. Talbot, S.J., Editor of America Magazine (1936-1944). Items of interest include: letter (?-1937) has attached a newsletter from St. Peter Claver's Church in Ridge, Maryland called "A Little Vine-Branch." Provided there is a brief biographical sketch of a former slave which provides material concerning the education of the slave in Maryland after the year 1831.
