Items of interest include: letter (Feb. 1) from Editor of "The Nation" Magazine to Father Parsons accuses him of religious bias in an "America" editorial; letter (Aug. 9) addresses how James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore, showed his interest in the Negro; letter (Sept. 12) speaks of communist information sources and the dangers to Catholic women; letter (Dec. 19) from a native of India writes about Christianity in India; letter (no date) speaks of Negro mission priests.
