Container Summary

This folder contains "F" Correspondence (1921-1932) essentially of Wilfrid Parsons, S.J., Editor of America Magazine (1925-1936), although there are some items which pre-date his tenure. Items of interest include: a recriminatory letter (Nov. 14, 1927) to Father Parsons from another priest concerning for the appearance of an article on birth control in America Magazine; letter (Mar. 4, 1930) from the Peace Society of Central Queens [New York] to America Press speaks of potential interference of the federal government into the Catholic school system; letter (July 13, 1932) complains of southern Democratic Party bigots and provides an Al Smith campaign slogan; letter (Nov. 22, 1932) speaks of anti-vivisection activities.
