This folder contains the "D" Correspondence (1933) of Wilfrid Parsons, S.J., Editor of America Magazine. Items of interest include: letters (Jan. 12/Jan. 10) from a woman protests use of the mails for immoral purposes and charges the Council of Churches with Communism; letter (Feb. 16) from Father Parsons responding to a letter regarding the Church's views on sex education; letters (April 11/Dec. 7) from a reader criticizing America Magazine's lack of support for Herbert Hoover and charging America and other Catholic journals of fomenting a plan to split from the Democratic Party in order to start a Catholic Party; letters (July, 1933) from the AFL (American Federation of Labor) General Secretary to Father Parsons addressing charges of racketeering; letter (Aug. 14) indicates America Magazine publication requirements.
