This folder is comprised primarily of the "C" Correspondence of Wilfrid Parsons, S.J., Editor of America Magazine, although there are a few items which pre-date his tenure. Items of interest include: letter (May 26, 1925) protesting Protestant influence in Catholic spheres; letter (Feb. 10/ Feb. 24, 1927) regarding the position of the Catholic Church pertaining to spiritual/political matters and conflict; letter (Nov. 15/Oct. 4, 1929) speaks of the delicate state of affairs in Italy; letter (June 5/May 20, 1931) relays events during a priest's trip to Italy including attendence of the Pope's Mass.
