4 financial documents dated 1841-1843, regarding John F. Bouring [spelling of his name is inconsistent]. The documents are detailed as follows: 1 ADS receipt for purchase by Bouring of one quadrant, one parallel rule, one slate, and one blank book, received by Samuel Browning[?]; 1 ADS receipt dated 5/8/1843 received from Bouring for teaching him navigation; 1 ADS receipt dated 12/9/1841 received from Rebecca Hillen, guardian of Bouring, regarding court fees, with reference to Catherine Hillen; and 1 ADS dated 12/9/1841 regarding court fees of Catherine Hillen. All but one of the documents is identified as being written in Baltimore.
