Container Summary
AM by Rose Hawthorne Lathrop titled "Of My Life. Redcar." 8 pages. The manuscript begins, "I must have been a very stupid child; the befogged state of my mind was certainly a pity and perhaps a shame..." The autobiographical essay refers to her father Nathaniel Hawthorne and describes the place, Redcar, in England where they lived for a time. Reference also to Sophia Hawthorne.
