Many of his articles in various publications are preserved, and some of his books are retained. Some unpublished manuscripts and correspondence are also present. Father Schall is an expert on the interplay between Christianity and politics. The James V. Schall, S.J.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval.
