Also includes 1 ALS dated 10/10/1872 to an unidentified correspondent, which includes a reference to a reception of Daniel Coit Gilman. Also includes 1 ALS dated 3/18/1874 to Arthur Coit Gilman from Watson R. Sperry (?), managing editor of the "Evening Post," in reference to printing a letter by Dr. Gilman.
