Series-level Scope and Content Note

From the Series:

The following series consists of typescripts and translations of essays by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, with many including autograph corrections by the author. Also included are mimeograph editions and offprints of Teilhard's works. Note: 1. Titles of works are given either in French/English as they appear on the item and are indexed accordingly. Searches should therefore be done in both languages. 2. Folders 3:23 to 3:30 contain miscellaneous autograph and typed manuscripts by Lucile Swan relating to notes dictated to her by Teilhard de Chardin, notes by others transcribed by Swan, or her own notes about Teilhard de Chardin. (See curatorial file: Inventory List descriptions provided by Mary Wood Gilbert for these items.)
